About

I am 38 years old and I have been racing and riding dirt bikes for 14 years.  I grew up in central Virginia and spent most of my early childhood in the garage with my dad helping him work on Harleys.  I had a little YFM80 Badger four-wheeler that my dad and I would ride together in the woods near my house, but I never owned or rode a dirt bike growing up.  I never dreamed I would race or ride dirt bikes when I got older because I didn’t even know that was a thing.  The only racing I ever watched was the 1/4 mile motorcycle drag races at the Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, Virginia where my dad and I would ride the badger around all over the pits. I started trying to ride BMX when I was in about 6th grade and was not very good at it even though it was fun to me. After I graduated college, I moved to Austin, Texas and began riding BMX with the local ladies at the T1 ramp and had a blast. One day I asked my dad to build me a harley and his response was, “You need to ride a dirt bike before you ride on the road.” That weekend I bought a shitty craigslist KX 125 and began riding. After a few months of riding, I met a girl who convinced me to do a TORCS race. I told her I would sign up if she would quit asking me to race. I raced my first race in September 2009 and the rest is history.
